About Chacko
Chacko George Vadaketh is an accomplished actor, voice-over artist, and host. He served as a board member of the National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia, FINAS (2023–2025).
His television credits include productions such as The Bold and the Beautiful, Strike Back, Mr Kiasu, In Plain Sight, The Bridge, and Keluarga Baha Don. His film credits include The Assistant, Princess of Mars, Entrapment and magiK.
Beyond screen work, Chacko is also the narrator for History Channel’s Road to Nationhood. On stage, he has appeared in numerous productions including Singapore’s Por Por’s Big Fat Surprise Wedding, portraying Prospero in The Tempest, and his solo show Songs & Stories at the George Town Festival 2024. His distinguished hosting portfolio includes emceeing the Royal Reception for Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla during their official visit to Kuala Lumpur.
Chacko was also actively involved with the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles from 2010 to 2014. He is a board member of RIMAU - giving hope to the critically endangered Malayan Tiger.
He will next appear as Mr Wolff in the upcoming microdrama Number Nine, slated for release in late 2026. Chacko is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and a Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn.
