Best known for his breakout performances in Mediacorp’s “Million Dollar Money Drop” and the critically-acclaimed drama series “The Pupil,” George Young is a British actor celebrated for his versatility across film, television, and theatre.

Born in the UK to a half Malaysian-Chinese, half Greek-Cypriot family, George pursued acting studies in New York before completing degrees in psychology and law. He subsequently qualified as a lawyer but eventually chose to follow his passion for performing, bringing a unique intellectual and cultural perspective to his craft.

George’s notable accomplishments include an Asian Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for HBO Asia’s miniseries Grace, and winning the ELLE Award for Breakout Star of the Year for his Singaporean debut on Million Dollar Money Drop. He earned critical acclaim in theatre, winning ELLE Award’s Actor of the Year for his leading role as Guy in Pangdemonium’s Swimming With Sharks.
