Best known for her award-winning stage performances and her role as Felicity Young in Warner Brothers’ blockbuster Crazy Rich Asians, Janice Koh is a versatile Singaporean actor celebrated for her powerful presence across theatre, film, and television.
Janice graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Theatre Studies and earned a Master’s with Distinction in Theatre Administration from Goldsmiths, University of London, under a Public Service Commission scholarship. Beyond her artistic achievements, she served as a Nominated Member of Parliament from 2012 to 2014, championing the arts, design, and heritage in Singapore.
A critically acclaimed stage performer, Janice won the Life! Theatre Award for Best Actress in 2003 for Proof and has received multiple Best Actress nominations for productions including With/Out, Optic Trilogy, Rabbit Hole, and Hitting (On) Women. Her recent theatre work spans leading roles in Salome, Hand to God, Sandaime Richard, and Rant & Rave, with performances touring internationally in Tokyo, Edinburgh, Berlin, Hamburg, Brussels, and France. On screen, she has appeared in Hitman: Agent 47, Unlucky Plaza, The Offering, and over 30 television projects, including The Pupil, Fighting Spiders, Code of Law to name a few. She has earned two Asian Television Awards nominations for Best Leading Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
