Best known for his leading role as Ken Chow in Singapore’s highest-grossing film franchise “Ah Boys to Men,” Joshua Tan is a versatile Singapore-based actor, host, and action performer whose screen presence and physicality have made him one of the most recognisable faces of his generation.
Born in Melbourne and raised in Singapore, Joshua trained under industry veterans Kym Campbell and Lim Yu-Beng, building a strong foundation in acting from a young age.
His early career saw him take on diverse roles across MediaCorp and HBO Asia productions, with appearances in Code of Law and Lion Moms. 2018 marked a series of milestones as he made his Channel 8 debut in You Can Be An Angel 3 and his first dialect series How Are You?.《好世谋》Beyond acting, Joshua has demonstrated versatility as a presenter for Mediacorp, including a CNA documentary on ageing and dementia and Channel 5’s maritime-industry series Ship to Shore. He has also fronted major live events such as Prudential’s Q3 Circle of Champions. Most recently, he returned to his role as Marcus Lim in Lion Moms Season 3 and expanded his repertoire with projects like the cheerleading drama Cheerific, Viddsee’s The Multiverse at 13 Hill Ave, and WaWa Pictures’ Time Capsule. A dedicated martial artist with over a decade of Muay Thai experience, Joshua brings physicality and authenticity to his craft, performing most of his own stunt and wire work. He has also collaborated with international brands such as Hennessy and Dolce and Gabbana.
