Karyn possesses a cheerful and bright personality; she brings fun and joy to every event. Being a bilingual host fluent in both English and Mandarin, she has hosted a range of events from weddings, product launches to corporate dinner and dance.

She is also involved in the media and entertainment field; where she is also a part-time DJ at Mediacorp Love97.2FM who has taken on relief shifts during morning and evening drive time. Currently, she is one of the main hosts on Mediacorp The Wonder Shop.

From July to November 2023, she has hosted alongside industry veterans like Lee Teng and Jeff Goh in Mediacorp’s variety show, Battle of the Buskers. In 2022, she also played Karen Seow, one of the main casts from Jack Neo's Ah Girls Go Army and was one of the songwriters for many of the movie soundtracks.
