Rachel Wan is best known for her lead role as Yoke Shelley in the acclaimed long-running television series KIN, which won Best Telenovela at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2020. Her portrayal of Yoke showcased her depth, nuance, and ability to connect with audiences, cementing her as one of Singapore’s rising acting talents.
Trained in acting at Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore and further honing her craft with the Ivana Chubbuck technique through Star Magic in the Philippines, Rachel is a bilingual actress fluent in Mandarin and Tagalog.
She landed her first breakout lead role as Lisa Wong in Fine Tune (2016), and has since appeared in television series such as The Cheaters App, No Catalogue, and Classmates, demonstrating versatility across genres and formats. Beyond acting, Rachel is a passionate crochet enthusiast, a love she has cultivated since the age of nine. Together with her partner Edwin, she founded @unraveland, a platform to share their passion for the handcraft with a wider audience, reflecting her creativity and dedication both on and off screen. She has also collaborated with various brands for social media campaigns such as Adidas, Lancaster Beauty and Fujifilm.
