Tan Kheng Hua is an award-winning Singaporean actor and producer whose work spans film, television, theatre, and voice acting across Asia and Hollywood.

She is internationally recognized for her portrayal of Kerry Chu, the mother of Rachel Chu (played by Constance Wu), in Warner Bros.' global blockbuster Crazy Rich Asians. She also starred as a series regular in The CW's Kung Fu, now streaming on HBO Max.

Kheng has built an extensive international screen career across film and television, with credits including Netflix's Marco Polo, in which she played the Empress Dowager; the acclaimed limited series Chimerica (Channel 4, UK) and Der Letzte Patriarch (UFA Filmproduktion GmbH); as well as guest-starring roles in Grey's Anatomy, The Philanthropist, and Magnum P.I.

As a voice actor, she lends her voice to The Violinist, Singapore's first full-length animated feature from Robot Playground, which won the prestigious Cristal for Best Feature Animation Film and the SACEM Award for Best Original Soundtrack at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026. She is also part of the main voice cast of Paramount+'s Tiger's Apprentice, alongside Crazy Rich Asians alumni Michelle Yeoh and Henry Golding.

A leading figure in Singapore's performing arts industry, Kheng is also one of Singapore's most prolific theatre actors and producers. Her recent stage credits include Florian Zeller's The Father (Pangdemonium Theatre Company Ltd) and the acclaimed musical La Cage Aux Folles (Wild Rice Ltd).

Beyond acting, Kheng produces original content for television, festivals, and the stage in Singapore and Malaysia. She is a multiple award-winning artist, with accolades from Singapore's Life! Theatre Awards and the Asian Academy Creative Awards, one of Asia's foremost television awards.

Kheng has also collaborated with some of the world's most prestigious luxury and beauty brands, including Chanel, Loewe, Lancôme, SK-II, Shiseido, and Tod's.
