Vanessa is widely recognized for her role as Ho Min Yi in Lion Mums, the popular long-running Mediacorp series where she appeared across four seasons. Her nuanced portrayal of a devoted mother and career woman resonated strongly with audiences, establishing her as a familiar face in Singaporean television.

Born and raised in Singapore, Vanessa graduated from Nanyang Technological University in 2011 with a major in English Literature and a minor in Drama and Performance. She discovered her love for theatre with the Singapore Repertory Theatre's Young Company in 2010, training under veteran actor and educator Daniel Jenkins.

Her theatre credits include Grimm Tales (Singapore Repertory Theatre), ABCD: FourPlays (Theatreworks and Vertical Submarine) and more. Vanessa also made her international television debut in the first season of Marco Polo (The Weinstein Company, Netflix). Beyond acting, Vanessa has collaborated with global brands including Volkswagen, Sephora and Hublot. She has co-presented live telecasts for Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore, and has appeared as a co-anchor on Fox Sports Asia and Super Sports 360. In 2017, she expanded into screenwriting, contributing to numerous productions including Starcrossed, The Deep End, Titoudao and Lion Mums S4. In 2022, she co-founded Nightjar Films, which was commissioned by Mediacorp to produce two dramas in its first year and received an IMDA MEP grant for concept development.

Vanessa’s strong acting foundation, coupled with her relevant experience makes her a compelling choice for projects that require authenticity, nuance, and multi-dimensional storytelling.
